Mark J. Kotnis
The son of immigrant parents, Mark grew up in Buffalo and moved to New York City to further his education in prestigious Universities. His studies spanned Ancient Greek and Roman civilization, modern computer systems, and law. As a member of Fordham’s and Hofstra’s Mock Trial teams he competed with peers from other top Universities including Yale and Harvard. He represented Fordham University taking part in a DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) robotics challenge. After years of studying computer science Mark applies his deep understanding of cutting edge information technology to his legal practice. He began his professional career as a public defender at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, where he represented over one thousand clients. He continued his career in a successful Personal Injury law firm in the New York City area. Mark has returned home to serve the Greater Buffalo community.
